Victoria Sampler Counted Cross Stitch Charts and Patterns

Victoria Sampler cross stitch patterns have beautiful, delicate, and sometimes very intricate designs with beautifully blended colors and challenge you with a wonderful variety of hardanger and cross stitch embroidery. With a touch of special silks and threads, her instructions and leaflets are beautifully done with classic, tasteful designs that will never go out of style so you can create heirloom quality embroideries for future generations.

Colors are represented as well as possible. Due to computer monitor variations,
it is impossible to show exact color matches.

At the top of the sampler you’ll see a farmhouse with sparkling lights and glowing windows, a small mill nearby, a lighthouse to shine a beacon for those who will arrive by water, a happy child just finishing her snowman before being collected by her parents sleighing on their way into town. In the middle section, the first stanza of H.W. Longfellows’ poem “Christmas Bells” are surrounded by cardinals and specialty stitched snowflakes. This poem was written in 1864 at Christmas during the American civil war, and is still sung by carollers to remind ourselves of peace and good will. At the bottom of the sampler there is a church and schoolhouse, as snow lies round about. Folks are skating, singing, and enjoying their friendship with each other. These three different parts of this design can be stitched separately as stand-alone designs or stitch it as is, to create a sampler that embodies the best of Christmas spirit in your town!

A gorgeous English cottage of a house nestling under the tall fir trees, fruit trees, and a barn with several goats, sheep, cats, and other various animals, including Joker the donkey, and a goat called Vincent are all part of the charm. Their herb fields are stylized into traditional shapes, and are filled with such an array of ravishing plants and blossoms that you can write poems about. The top part of the sampler, which has the phrase, "There's no place like home" can also be stitched separately and framed as a small sampler.
