Fall is here!!! There is a chill in
the air!! We hope you had a wonderful summer season. We have had
an exciting and HOT Summer here in Branson and now we look
forward to cooler weather and more stitching time, as the days
get shorter and the "stitching evenings " are longer.
We want to welcome Holly Decker to
our "shop family". Holly comes to us from Leslie's Craft
Carousel in Bolivar. We are thrilled to have her here to be
organizing and running our
classes and stitching weekends. She
brings us lots of class experience and excellent ideas for
unique projects. If you have any thoughts on classes or
techniques that you would like us to offer, please let Holly or
us know and we will do our best to make it happen.
We are happy to be able to offer
finishing for our customers. Theresa Daniels, from Leslie's
Craft Carousel in Bolivar has offered to do finishing for our
shop. She can offer you banners, pillows with ruffles or piping,
cubes, stand ups, and wall hangings. Stop by the shop and you'll
be able to see some examples of Theresa's beautiful finishing
techniques!! (They're great for those of us who are running out
of wall space!!)
We have started a stitching group
called "Cecilia's Saturday Stitchers". They meet on the second
Saturday of most months from 9:00 am until (about) 4:00pm. There
are specials offered only to the CSS group when they come for
the day to stitch, and as we get a little more organized, we
will have more specials and exciting surprises for our
stitchers. So, if you are free on the second Saturday (please
check the
class schedule for accurate dates) we would love to welcome
you and be able to stitch and visit for a while.
