A Collection of Petite Samplers by JBW Designs

Description

This 12 page booklet includes charts for 5 samplers which were stitched from the years 1828 and 1894.  The collection includes 2 small red samplers and another sampler worked in pastels.  One of the most interesting samplers is worked in blue and was originally part of Glee Krueger’s Collection.  It included the phrase: “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.”  And the 5th sampler is an adaptation of an Ohio sampler, worked in lovely shades of aquas, greens, and peaches.  Whenever possible, the history of the piece was included, along with all of the details for stitching each design.
